$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install opensmtpd 

opensmtpd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the opensmtpd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep opensmtpd *

You will get with opensmtpd package name, version, architecture and description in a table

opensmtpd package basic information:
